"Redrum shoulda killed us right in our jail cells
I'm coming home and I guarantee that we burn well
The sacrifice is the edifice to our child life
The precipice where we learn all of our wrongs from rights"

CLASSIFIED DOSSIER

enemyX is the brainchild of Nebraska-based rapper Anthony "Jinx" Jenkins and his brother, producer/rapper Bryan "Cryptic-X" Jenkins.
Formed in 2021 when competing in the Making Hip-Hop subreddit cypher scene, the duo quickly made their presence known with raw technical skill and unfiltered authenticity.
First singles "Hot as Fuck" and "Remedy" established their aggressive, genre-defying sound that refuses to stay in one lane.
Released their Freshman album simply titled "enemyX" on August 19th 2024 during the Omaha Four Winds Music Festival to critical underground acclaim.
Operating under Killing Field Records, the duo combines Cryptic-X's technical production mastery with Jinx's visceral, emotionally devastating lyrical delivery.
Motto: "Keep Your Friends Close" - a reflection of their unbreakable brotherhood and creative synergy that defined their work.
The duo's sound encompasses everything from aggressive battle rap and boom-bap to introspective storytelling and experimental production, refusing to be confined by genre conventions.
Influences range from MF DOOM and Earl Sweatshirt to Madvillain and underground Memphis rap, creating a sound that's simultaneously nostalgic and forward-thinking.
Their live performances became legendary in the Nebraska underground scene, with raw energy and technical precision that left audiences stunned.
Following the tragic passing of Jinx in May 2025, Cryptic-X has vowed to continue the legacy while honoring his brother's artistic vision and completing their unfinished work.
The enemyX project represents more than music—it's a testament to brotherhood, artistic integrity, and the refusal to compromise vision for commercial appeal.
Future releases include posthumous Jinx material, collaborative projects, and Cryptic-X's solo work, all under the Killing Field Records banner: "Legends Die Here".
